Guidelines for Operation

1. New Grievance

The default landing page is the New Grievance page - which is also accessible by clicking on the link as depicted below. This is the main area where grievances can be lodged by providing necessary details along with supporting document if there are any.


There are two types under which any grievances can be registered –

  1. Non-anonymous: A grievance that bears the responsible person’s name, contact number and other details falls under the category of non-anonymous grievance.
  2. Anonymous: There can be a case wherein the person responsible for registering a grievance chose to hide his/her identity. This type of grievance falls under anonymous grievance.
Registration of Anonymous/Non-anonymous grievance can be made by toggling between the ‘No’ and ‘Yes’ in the portal as depicted below.




2. Track Grievance

Upon submission of new grievance, a notification message will be sent out to the registered contact number, notifying of the successful registration as well as providing of ‘Grievance ID’ by which the registered grievance may be tracked and looked up anytime in the future via the provided link - https://vahui.in/track.php


In the case of an Anonymous complaint wherein a contact number is not provided, the portal itself will display a successful message highlighting the ‘Grievance ID’ as well as providing the necessary link for tracking and further enquiry of the grievance.

3. Grievance Report

Grievance report output the statistics of the overall report in brief.

  • Case Registered – Total number of cases registered over any period of time.
  • Case Resolved – Total number of all cases resolved.
  • Case Under Process – Total number of cases currently reviewed or cases that are due for screening.
  • Anonymous Case – Total number of anonymous cases.
